In the snug you can take on friends and locals in a game of darts and an old-school Atari space invaders. Live music gigs, quizzes and domino drives as well as themed nights with bespoke menus take place regularly (check Facebook for what’s on when).

While we have much going on indoors, it’s the outdoors you’ll really want to explore while staying with us. With fantastic routes for cycling, hills for wandering, lochs for swimming and rivers for fishing, you’ll not be lost for things to do. We are also in striking distance of wonderful historic sites and museums across the South of Scotland and Edinburgh is just an hour from the local train station. Our staff will be only too happy to make recommendations on activities and days out.
