Big Nicht Oots Return to the Cross Keys Inn!

Autumn may be rolling in, but we’re getting all cosy at the Cross Keys Inn with the return of our ‘Big Nicht Oots’ – a series of special themed evenings that bring great food, fantastic company, and a hearty dose of fun to our wee village pub.

This season, we’re drawing culinary inspiration from some true legends of British cookery – none other than Keith Floyd and the wonderfully eccentric Two Fat Ladies. You can expect bold flavours, classic comfort dishes, and a dash of vintage flair as we recreate iconic dishes with our own Cross Keys twist.

What’s on the Menu?

Each ‘Big Nicht Oot’ will feature a carefully curated menu inspired by some of our favourite British food heroes:

• Keith Floyd Night – Celebrate the spirit of this flamboyant chef with rustic, wine-soaked dishes full of character (and maybe a wee toast or two in his honour!).
• Two Fat Ladies Night – Indulge in rich, retro delights and gloriously old-school British classics.

These events promise more than just dinner – they’re a nod to the chefs who made food fun again and we can guarantee much merriment!

Christmas at the Cross Keys

Looking ahead, our Christmas menu is also making a grand return. Designed with a focus on seasonal, locally sourced ingredients, this festive feast will be available throughout December. Watch this space for menus and details on how to book!
