The Two Fat Ladies Ride Again at the Cross Keys Inn

Fans of hearty, feel-good factor cooking are in for a treat on Friday 14th November as our next ‘Big Nicht Oot’ is a special Two Fat Ladies Feast Night, celebrating the larger-than-life culinary duo Clarissa Dickson Wright and Jennifer Paterson.

For those who remember the indomitable duo who roared around Britain on a Triumph Thunderbird with sidecar, you’ll know they weren’t just television cooks. They were a force of nature — unapologetically greedy, gloriously eccentric, and passionately devoted to real food. We will be honouring their spirit with a one-off menu that celebrates their favourites: hearty, old-fashioned dishes, rich with wit and even richer with butter.
